in lake garda what flies to use for fly fishing?
I'm off to Lake Garda in August and want to know what flies to use for fishing, what fish I might catch and do I need an international permit and where do I get one from?
You should contact a local fishing store to ask. You need a fishing permit, you can get them from the international office near the border.
where can i buy dylon dye colour bordeaux preferably in ireland or uk?
the purpose of this dye is for dyeing shrimp for fishing . and to the fly fishing men i do not have a suitable beat where i can fly fish and i cannot afford to be buying day permits + i am not a man of leisure or retired, no offense but different strokes for different folk.
Look in material shops, curtain making shops, supermarkets in the laundry goods section next to the washing powders, some market stalls sell Dylon dyes , convenience stores that sell everything, B&Q, Homebase, Aldi, Boots, local chemist shop,.....
You may want it for dying shrimps but it's actually made for dying materials and clothes. A few other companies make clothing dyes too...it doesn't have to be Dylon but that's the biggest company and you'll see Dylon stuff everywhere that sells dyes.
Wear rubber gloves or walk around with coloured hands for a week. You can't wash it off.
That's the idea. It dyes things. First wash for clothing you lose a bit so dye clothes darker than you want to end up with. Get a bit of it off the skin with a load of soap and a good scrub but not all of it. The rest of it wears off in time.
Dylon do loads of dyes...for wool, cotton, nylon, terylene, leather jackets, changing shoe colours, very popular company.
Dye feathers for fancy hats or fishing lures, fletching arrows, darts, all sorts of stuff
