What are some high quality *affordable* sports sunglasses?
I'm looking for some new sunglasses mainly to me used when playing golf/fishing; I like Oakley's, but there's no way I will be shelling out $100+ for some sunglasses I may lose in a week; My price limit is about $60, I want something with sport like styling of Oakley's but I don't want some cheap knockoffs, I'd rather just buy from another reputable brand
Oakely M-Frames can be had for around $60.00 at an Oakley Vault Store. this is Oakley's outlet store. When you go to one, as to see the DE M Frames.
Why go cheap- are your eyes not worth it?
Cheaper glasses will not provide the same UV protection, clarity, OR impact protection (not that golf is really an impact sport- but you never know- SAND) that Oakley will provide.
I used to think the same thing. BUT, when I shelled out $160 for a pair of sunglasses, I found that was more careful with these than a pair of $40.00 glasses. That was 20 years ago, and I still have them. Don't fall into that trap. Lose 2 $60.00 glasses and you're now getting into Oakley Radar (new version of the M-Frame) territory.
Go with your gut- go with the Oakleys. you won't be sorry you did.

Your opinion - polarized sunglasses?
just bought a pair of sunglasses, but wondering if I should have shelled out the extra $$ to buy a pair that's polarized. I'm trying to figure out if it's worth it for me. I usually just wear my glasses when driving, and generally when I'm outdoors (like walking or lounging, not fishing, or golfing). What's your opinion? Do I need polarized sunglasses? Will it harm my eyes if I don't have them?

I have the polarized Raybans, but they were a gift. I personally think that they are just looking for ways to earn some extra money. It does help sometimes with the bright sun when you are driving though.
