This is largely a matter of opinion. However, I would say the best flies for these fish, in my opinion be. . . Bream: Adams Dry Fly, ant imitations, nymphs little generic. Low: If one speaks of largemouth bass probably Wooley buggers or poppers (deer hair or foam). If it comes to smallmouth bass, probably the same material, Clouser minnows, or crayfish imitation. Trout: It varies from stream water one species to another, depending on the season. Wooley Buggers usually works with imitations of insects such as the dry fly in General Adam, hares ear nymph etc. as all species, you should try to match your flight with all their prey are most available in your particular area where the fish seem to be eating more than others. I really have not fished for salmon or pike, but I'd say the search for a general imitation is any source of food is common in your area that each species appears to consume more.
